Doctor
Dr. Mark E Sharp , DVM-Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Sharp was born and raised on a farm in Muldrow, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He immediately began practicing at South County Animal Hospital as an associate until March of 2002 when he and his wife Dr. Leslie Block-Sharp took over ownership.
His primary interests are orthopedic surgery, dentistry, ear cropping with or without patented implantation, and reproduction. A lover of technology, Dr. Sharp is constantly in search of innovative ways to practice veterinary medicine. He is committed to providing the best medical and surgical care for both small and large animals.
Dr. Sharp enjoys spending time with his 3 children: Layla (doberman), Max (African Grey Parrot) and Mikha (Maine Coon), and traveling. |  View |
Dr. Leslie E Block , DVM-Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Block graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. A native of Yukon, Oklahoma, she moved to Arkansas after graduation and her engagement to Dr. Mark Sharp. After they purchased South County Animal Hospital and married, she became a full-time member of the team in 2002.
Her areas of interest are soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, chemotherapy and internal medicine. She has extensive experience with exotic pets including birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, rodents and many more!

Dr. Zac D Phillips , DVM-Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Phillips grew up on a small farm near Sallisaw Ok. Upon graduation from Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005, he became the third veterinarian on staff at South County Animal Hospital.
Dr. Phillips' primary areas of interest are beef and dairy cattle herd health, and small and large animal reproduction.

Management Reception Grooming
Tracy L King Tracy is a native of Greenwood, and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1992. She is a graduate of the National School of Dog Grooming in 1995 and is a Certified Professional Pet Groomer trained to work with veterinarians. Tracy has 11 years of experience grooming all breeds of dogs and cats.
Tracy has been married to her wonderful husband, Scott, for 8 years. They have Teanna, a 1 year old standard poodle; Tigger, an 8 year old miniature poodle; and Chester, a 3 year old cat and a 6 month old African Grey Parrot (The Great Harry Houdini). They are active members of 1st Baptist Church of Lavaca. Tracy enjoys most spending time with family & friends. |  View |

D'Ann Pair D'Ann grew up in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1971. She joined the South County Animal Hospital team in August of 2004 straight from managing a horse farm in Lavaca. Her entire life has evolved around horses in some way: from training, breaking, breeding, showing, rodeoing or judging. She was on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas State Horse Show Assoc for 6 years. She still barrel races when time permits.
D's hobbies are horseback riding, camping and hunting with her family. She has been married to her long-suffering husband, Frank, for 32 years and has 2 grown children with 2 grandsons. |  View |
